The excellent results of MATELEC INDUSTRY 2018, held from November 13 to 16, consolidate its position and prestige as the great commercial platform of southern Europe. The contest organized by IFEMA, which took place from 13 to 16 November last, at the Feria de Madrid, was held coinciding with ePower & Building, an event that has registered almost 90,000 professional visitors, 24% more than in the previous edition of 2016, which has far exceeded previous expectations. 15% of the visitors were international, coming mainly from the European Union, Maghreb and Ibero-America, especially Colombia and Morocco from Africa, the two invited countries. The number of exhibiting companies has exceeded 1,600, representing an increase of 25% over the previous edition.

Master Battery has chosen MATELEC INDUSTRY 2018 to present the project of the future URBAN BATTERY, with a millionaire investment to become a National and International Referent in aspects related to Energy Management.

URBAN BATTERY plans the construction of a Production Plant and Distribution Platform of more than 10,000 m2, which will have:

• • Technological Monitoring (Smart Factory).
• • The latest Systems in the Production Chains and Global Management Model.
• • New Logistics Tools.

• • Economization of Energy and Raw Materials.

The proposal includes a Sustainable Building disconnected from the network in which renewable production will cover the energy demand itself. In addition, corporate spaces are provided for clients and visitors (offices, laboratories, exhibition, energy awareness spaces, interactive area, children's spaces -interpretation-, etc.) as a large showroom.
